For a class project , we had to create a custom website and upload each part like index.html , bio.htm , career.htm , externalstylesheet.css , etc to the class webserver . Then for our final project , we were to use a free web hosting service to host our custom website . I registered my domain name
of rhopkins11701.x10.mx and am waiting for the domain to be registered . I uploaded my index.html , bio.htm , career.htm , links.htm , externalstylesheet.css , etc to public_html . Was that the correct thing to do ?

Btw this is my working website for the class .

That's exactly what you wanted to do!

http://rhopkinsit11701.x10.mx/ is your domain name on your account.

Your image isn't pointing to the right location, however.

Also, I would recommend forgetting almost everything you learned in your class. Your HTML looks okay.. but <br> tags and <hr> tags are very out of date. They're not used at all anymore.. Most of all design stuff can be accomplished with CSS.

"Total Eclipse Of The Heart" ?

You don't look that old. :D

(and you misspelled Eclipse)
(and you might consider "hiding" your email address so it doesn't get grabbed by a spider and put on spammer's lists - you can google ways of doing it)

Well, <hr> tags used that way are very out of date, at any rate. They're still the right thing to do for scene transitions in the middle of a chapter, etc. (basically, anywhere a narrow horizontal rule rule or a flourish would be used in a typeset document). And <br> still has a legitimate use in poetry (at least until the standard includes <verse> or <stanza> and <line>). But in general, yeah, there are much better ways of forcing width and lining. Drop in to the "Scripts, 3rd Party Apps, and Programming" forum and we'll be glad to help you out with any questions you may have.
