Hi,

I have been attempting to delete 2 folders on my web space and have had no success in doing so. It appears there are 2 files and a nested folder that remain after I try to delete the folders and I cannot get rid of them at all.

I've changed the permissions to 777 via CHMOD and tried to delete via my FTP client and received a permission denied message. I then went into the File Manager in Cpanel and it looks like the folder goes away until I refresh.

I was hoping that perhaps there was another way to delete the folders, or at the very least if someone could go in and remove the folders for me. The path to the folders I need deleted is sciecko.x10hosting.com/www/ and I need the only two folders in there completely wiped out.

When I visit your url --> sciecko.x10hosting.com

I see two folders

dead/
drupal-6.14/

Do you want to delete these folders

You can do it in file manager.
If not try the legacy file manager.

These folders are in your public_html

Quick note so I can add onto this; he wants to delete them from the WWW folder.

DON'T!

WWW is a sym-link to public_html; basically they both show the same files. Don't keep trying to find a way to erase them or they might go away from public_html.

If you want them erased from both you should be able to just erase them from public_html and they should go away from WWW as well :)

The legacy file manager did it! thanks. I did remove it from the Public_HTML folder. I appreciate the quick reply!
