Well the wish would be granted, except that 'nothing' is really an abstract concept that only exists in the mind.

I wish that I had more time to work on my SMF mod.

I wish that I have a duel core processor, not some excessive heat producing pentium4 .

Wish granted, you get better at golf but unfortunately you can't play golf in the dark very easily, so it doesn't matter anyway.

It does, but then you find that it is not compatible with any new file types and there is no way to update it. So you buy a new one.

Summer is now delayed for 20 years but we are now stuck in winter for those 20 years
