I used two screen to test for this

one with forum-chat the other with XChat - (two nics)

We all hate Eris around here. Everything from Bold-faced fonts to chat spam seems to break it. I can never get the thing to even work whenever I try to use it (and I'm not on a PC that has an IRC client installed). The old Java one we had in the past I know worked just fine. I'm curious as to why we got rid of it. None the less, something new should be coming.

the IRC is not down, I've been connected all the time with no issues. try doing /join #x10hosting.

IRC is up. The old web client (eris) was replaced with a new one (mibbit)

Eris was trashed a week or so ago
