Hello again everyone, we appear to be having some trouble with the free email service.
We set up three email accounts for our admins, but when trying to log in to Thunderbird we keep getting a note saying that the details are incorrect?

Hi,

What are you using for the login details/server details (Obviously, don't post passwords)

what are you using for the username?

What ports are you using for IMAP/SMTP?

You should be using SSL, not Starttls.

Ok that worked but it's still telling me that the password is incorrect.

My "incorrect password" is only for IMAP. SMTP accepts (the same) password without issue.
I can SEND email, I just cant RECEIVE email.
(See the other threads on this issue, also).

This still hasn't been resolved!
Have tried using Opera Mail and Mozilla Thunderbird with the same result.

Terrorb, I see you have gotten the same results that I have: nothing.
Up until now, I could SEND email using Thunderbird, but not RECEIVE (although my other non-x10 accounts work just fine). Just in case it was a T-bird issue, I tried the account settings in Evolution, and got the same results: could send, but not receive.
Today, I cannot receive OR send. The problem has gotten worse, and no response from anybody on any of the threads about this issue (yours, mine, and one other).
We have tried being nice, with no results. Now what do we do?

Now I just access the mail through Chrome and RoundCube, just have a little shortcut on the desktop to the mail domain

I believe this may be related to the SSL v3 (POODLE) security issue a while back. I am looking to see if perhaps the SSLv3 Ciphers were accidentally disabled for the mail service on free hosting.

Appreciate it dude, the browser based mail is good but being able to use Thunderbird would be better
