Hey everyone, first of all I'm pretty new here as of yesterday.

I just recently opened up a website for a guild of mine that needed a central hub to collect our new data for our point-based award system. Unlike most guilds in this game we've chosen to go with the php/mysql "EQdkp" database system.

Now at the free level the normal site runs fine (http://warofglory.x10hosting.com/), but, when you click the "site" link to go to the database it runs EXTREMELY slow. I can't have that kind of site speed for something so vital to how we work so I've been thinking about upgrading to a premium account.

My question obviously, especially for anyone using a "paid-for" account is can I expect a significant increase in my database speed upon upgrading to a $5/month account, or is it just not worth it?

The premium hosting servers are always fast as compared to free servers As the premium servers will have less number of accounts per server and also comes with the premium support. check the details at http://x10hosting.com/premium.php

The paid servers are generally faster, as there isn't as many users on them, and you are allowed to use more resources, like CPU usage and memory usage.

The speed of the site also depends on the script, if it is optimized or not

Alright well let me ask you again than, I tried to upgrade but it says it needs additional information. . My "Cpanel" name - Is that just my account name?

Edit: And when I go to upgrade "Double Everything" doesn't specifically mention doubling my data transfer which I assume is really what has to do with my site speed - . . But does it :-/.

The double everything feature is only available on free hosting (to double all features, like space and b/w). It will not move you to the paid server, as your account will still be on the free server
