Hi all

This site has come a long way since I first asked a few months back.

I'd be very interested to know what your opinions are on:

1) Ease of use
2) General look and feel
3) Professionalism
4) Current Functionality

If you want to log in, just use "Demo" and "Password" for username and password.

Thanks

It looks good, I think the main comment I have is that it all seems a bit overwhelming, it may be time consuming but I would split the pages, mainly the home page into sub-pages, as it's a lot to look at.

Good point - The index page I think will have to be re-designed with some simple illustrative graphics.

The only reason for the lists was trying to improve SEO, but it is very busy!

I have now redesigned the index page to be more illustrative.

The menu bar has also been redesigned, but not tested in IE6, which is always a problem!

it looks good I just have a problem with the coloring, I don't really like aqua-teal sort of colors for the web, it makes things look kinda of old-ish. and the navigation buttons were too light (the bottom row)

LOL - the buttons on the bottom row are meant to be light - they don't work until you sign in! - You'll also notice they have a "#" link.

The colouration does look a bit "old" for a very good reason - the site attracts business people - probably sales/marketing managers - and a newer colour scheme might give the impression of being too funky and not reliable.

It would be very simple to chage the colour scheme with css if this point keeps rearing its head.

Thanks for the feedback.

I do like the layout and it is very professional looking, however, do you really expect to attract BUSINESES with a subdomain???

Think about that.

V Good point!!!!

TBH, this was a huge amount of functionality that I wanted to provide for free.

The more I think about it, a paid for domain would be better - I'm already having major problems with SEO as a result of just being a sub-domain.

Oh - by the way, my css is screwed up on every page other than the index page... no idea why either. Oh - and it doesn't work in IE6:rant2:don't you just love MS!

I do not really think your site looks that professional at all, if you are aiming for it..

the banner in your header seems out of place. thats because the banner height is as high as your whole banner!

on the other hand the pictures look very good, the main layout just.. does not

OOooooK.....

When you say "The banner height is as high as the whole banner", could you explain that please?

Do you mean the menu buttons?

Is it just because of the header or are there other aspects of the site you're not keen on?

I personally like simple layouts and for information intensive sites, simple tends to mean "easier to find".

Just can't get this $"*&%)! .css working!!!!:rant2:
