DVDFlick - Free DVD burning software. It does take a little while to burn, but there are so many settings to play with and the quality is really good. Really the only downfall is the amount of time it takes, but to me the quality is worth it. http://www.dvdflick.net/

Avira Antivirus Software - Completely free and does more than just scan for viruses. It scans for patterns that known viruses create and follow. I haven't had a single problem with it ever since I got it and i'm a huge fan of AVG. But now I recommend Avira.http://www.avira.com
