Hi all - Paid for my premium hosting, however I thought the transition would be seamless (as it didn't say there was going to any down time).

I'm building my wordpress site @ http://thenerdherd.nz and I can browse to it and use the site from my Google Chrome, however if I try another browser the URL fails. If I try another machine with Chrome on it I get the error message attached. Help! Any ideas? :( Error.png
Message above is when I access the site from another IP (VPN).

Was reading up on another thread, my IP 255.*.*.* is the same on my iPhone also but just brings up my root directory for my hosting with only one folder "cgi-bin". Really weird.

What you run into is most likely propagation time delay, this is beyond our control. Propagation speed depends on a number of things, one being how long your ISP caches DNS information for (the cache on your own computer could also be part of the delay).

DNS propagation time is the period it takes from the moment your nameservers are updated with the IP of the new server (the premium accounts are completely separet from free ones) to the time where the entire Internet has updated their DNS caches (personal computers, ISP caches, and various other "crossroads" over the Internet).

While this period is usually very short (few minutes or a couple hours at most is common), there will be a time where your site will be served by both the old and the new server, depending on what IP the involved DNS lookup will return.

I see that site as being served from one of our premium servers at this time.

If you ping the domain, what IP do you get?

Also, with the account now being on premium (or about to be), I'd strongly suggest using the ticket system in the clients area, that way you will get the attention of the actual staff that can look into this for you.
