I ban javajenius because I used to host that domain from home, but that one is now on x10. I still do host a site from home though, but it's for a gaming clan of my own which isn't really a clan, and for some ways into my network for when I'm on vacation.

Also, I have a Dynamic IP address, can get a Static if I want to, but I am running a little above 1,500kbps (186KB/s) of upload on a DSL line. The download is slightly above 7.1Mbps.

Wow, why don't you just host all of your sites on your own? You could have unlimited storage/bandwidth, and whatever applications you want. Your lucky, how much do you pay for those speeds?

Maybe you should open your own hosting service(s10Hosting). I'd sign up.

I ban javajenius because I pay $40 a month for this line for unlimted usage. I could host my own, but my main forum gets busy a lot so it tears at the connection, and I mainly use the connection to host very large game servers when I'm bored as it also has the line set for latency reduction that will give me pings lower than cable. I live next to the feed btw, so it's very, very stable.

As for hosting you a site, you'd have to pay me, sorry. I''d need to get a bigger line to support hosting my own sites from home, as 186KB/s can be chewed up really quickly, especially since the fact I host large game servers AND I upload loads of HD videos to the internet.

Around my area, I can get verizon FiOS or something that offers 50Mbps download/15Mbps upload for around $50 dollars. Still though, i'm very jealous of your high upload speed.

I still think you can host your server, but maybe your should quit the game hosting/ movie uploading.

But I like hosting games and movie upload, and FiOS CREAMS my connection big time. In my area, they have plans to roll in 30Mbps/15Mbps as well, but that's around $100 for it because Time Warner Cable only has 15Mbps/2Mbps in my area). I only have DSL from Verizon, the 7.1Mbps speed for residents (but I had gotten them to double my upload since I'm on an ADSL2+ card). That took a while though.

Wow, did you record those games? How long is one of those files? They're good quality.

What game was in the first one?

Both videos were Star Wars: Battlefront II, and yes, I recorded those using FRAPs on my gaming computer. I have the uncompressed AVIs still in my computer, which are taking up 30GB of space

The first one was about 10-15 minutes in 1080p, a little over 700MB, and the second one was I think around 5-8 minutes, and was 300MB.
