Photoshop! It is the far more professional app of the two, and in the end, while users can do great work with Gimp, I just dont think it can quite compare to PS in the end. PS has evolved so much it is crazy! I hate the GUI for PS CS1-4 but the CS5 GUI has drawn me in. Previously I used PS 7.
