GoDaddy need staff to manually park domain

"Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver."

Seems like a re-occuring issue with godaddy getting errors trying to park the domain even though the 2 x10 nameservers are in there properly and set to 600 sec. It's been far more than 10 min and still getting the above error.

Hi,

GoDaddy's Whois is still reporting that the nameservers have not been changed. Please check that our nameservers have been properly set on GoDaddy's side. They have an article on this here:

Our nameservers are ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com.

If you set the nameservers very recently, there can sometimes be a delay in them being applied, due to caching. If you have definitely set your nameservers, you might need to wait for a few hours. If you are still having issues with this, please contact GoDaddy.

I added them both with 600 sec TTL and it's been 45-60 min+

Make sure you're adding them as nameservers, and not as an A Record or anything like that. It doesn't usually ask you for a TTL.

Yup as NS records. Godaddy gives you a TTL option. Idk if it actually does anything though.

You cannot remove the ns21/22 unless you change the complete nameservers to "custom" to x10.

They are in there are "informational"

If I change the nameservers to bypass Godaddy then my mx records are all overridden for my email and that breaks. I have always added the new NS beside the ns21/22 and worked ok (without breaking the mx entries) on a few other hosts.

I typically set an A-name though which maybe got around it, but I dont see one for x10

I get around this by adding the MX enterie for my email host to the Zone File in x10 I take it, but there is no option to choose MX- only TXT, A, SRV and CNAME. Im using Zoho for email and cannot switch off of it.

Hi,

You can't use two different services for your nameservers at the same time; your site won't work properly. You would need only ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com present on GoDaddy's side, which would be part of the "Custom" nameserver options. cPanel has an icon for "MX Entries", which you can use to specify your MX entries.

Got it. I didnt realize there was a remote mail handler under MX Entries in the old cpanel. I was looking under advanced DNS

My account was just banned after finally changing my nameservers and MX?

The subdomain has/had a BASIC wordpress site with zero content besides the theme sample data as it was an old test version of the site and I was FTPing my new site in- same theme just more content and sample date taken out.

I know you are not your boss, but this is ridiculous! Effecting my business now.

It looks like our system automatically suspended your account due to something that looked very similar to a proxy being present on your account. Don't worry though; there can sometimes be false positives, and if you submit an appeal, someone will be able to help you with that.

We can't handle suspensions on the forums, unfortunately.

I PMed him, I didnt even see the proxy part. Definitely a Comcast IP same as I signed up for the account from and always edit the account from since.
