Going to open to make it offical

I have been having trouble with my website. (http://icmysite.x10hosting.com/) I was trying to install virtuemart and was having problems with DB lost connections. I thought maybe I had screwed up the DB so I blew the whole thing away and started over. Since then I have not been able to install any modules and everything is super slow.

make sure joomla is not set to have persistent connection.

I guess if I dont know how to set it to persistent, I most likely didnt do that.

As I stated before the site working fine till a 3 weeks ago. They only reason I rebuilt everything was due to lost connects to the database. I assumed I had screwed up the DB because I kept getting this error. After the rebuild I was able to install a template but I did receive errors then to. I only us this site for testing before I do it on the real site but right now I cant do anything. Even creating an article takes for ever. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
