hey is anyone else on the stoli server thats using a guestbook app missing any graphics?..

if you look at my site http://ke5puc.x10hosting.com

click on my guestbook link at the right bottom side of the page and see if your seeing any graphics.

Im not.. just started today. haven't touched the install or changed any config files. I made a mess out of my webmail thinking it was a problem on my side and now no images on my darn guestbook.

sigh............:rant2:

Yes. It work just fine up until now. I noticed that x10 has changed the login page for the stoli cpanel and its missing graphics too. I wonder if this issue is connected because I haven't changed anything on the guestbook. This problem started right after the new cpanel interface was created. Take a look at the cpanel on stoli. its having the same problem.

I checked and the file gbook.gif is in the img directory. The reason you can't go direct to that image is because I have that blocked so people can't pull random images from my website. there is a option in cpanel to enable this.

This is the error I get when trying to access the image direct.

Sorry. You have no access to this site. /guestbook/img/gbook.gif

Also this is in the mail dir and it is protected from people probing any files by default.

The file is there tho.

has it worked before?

http://ke5puc.com/guestbook/img/gbook.gif is not a valid image, it's a image handled as html, so that might be why it won't work

One thing you can try:

Locate your config.inc.php file in the admin\ directory

Go down to line 63 and edit
Code:
$GB_PG["base_url"] = "";
And change it to your base URL:
Code:
$GB_PG["base_url"] = "[B][COLOR=Green]http://ke5puc.com/guestbook[/COLOR][/B]";
