This is in reference to above stated topic, i am facing the same issue.

1. I get an error when i try to post in that thread.
2. I have the exact same problem and i wanted to point out another thing. On my website

www.usms.co.in opens up nice and good but when i try to open www.usms.co.in/gun (wordpress) i get either of the following two
1. HTTP 500 error (mostly this)
2. MySQL/ Database Problem

Let me know if i can be of any help or if anyone wants to Teamviewer it to diagnose the problem, since only a few are facing the problem.

Update - No HTML 500 error on Mozilla , Chrome .... Lands up on the page ... but not in IE

Already tried, doesnt work.

It opens for my friends though but gives mysql error.

This is a known issue. I am personally looking into this mater and have been on and off all day. Unfortunately my access level to certain systems prevents it from being done as quick as possible but i assure you i am working on this.
