Ok so I have been using this new script a friend gave me for a site and everyday a hacker has been getting into my cpanel and deleting everything. How can I stop him from accessing my cpanel? This has never happened to me before.

Hi konnecte,

The only way a user can access your cPanel is by logging in with your password. Please could you try changing your password, by going to Account Settings in the top right? :)

Thank you,

I was told about a shell though in the code. Could that lead to someone being able to get in?

If the script your friend gave you includes a shell, then that is your problem. Your "friend" might be the one hacking you.

Get rid of the script.

Honestly, if ANYONE gives you a script, you really should be seeing and understanding the code first before uploading it.
This could've been some nulled script or something that shouldn't even be on here.

What is this script claimed to be, anyway?
Not sure if this is a good idea also asking, but is it possible you could show a bit or all of this script to a staff member (staff member, community support, compliance officer, admin) either via PM or email?
If this script is the cause then we wouldn't like people to end up "borrowing" it. Giving this to a staff member may help get this prevented in the future (well, that depends).

much edits.

Nope its not a friend. Already confirmed that. Turns out it was just a staff member who was playing a prank. He got fired lol.
