help with account please

hi to everyone,

just a quick question...wondered if it was possible to set up my account so that someone else could log in and see either certain things i've allowed him to see up to and including as much as me. and if it is possible, how do i do it?

You are not allowed to give your password to anyone, but you could give someone FTP access, as long as they cant access the root directory of your site.

that's pretty much what i thought, so anything i want them to be able to change doesn't go in the root file, but a sub directory? and where do they enter their ftp login details?

Thhere should be an option for ftp accounts in cPanel. Then they use the info you create there

In the FTP accounts window, the the approitate row for the user there will be a button labeled Configure FTP Client (It's the last one). Click it and the information you'll need will be there.

also tried configuring ftp client- still nothing
