So it happend again on the 14th. I only noticed today and un-suspended myself.

This is the thread for the last time it happened, in case you are interested. : http://forums.x10hosting.com/free-hosting/108276-high-resource-usage-suspension.html

So, I don't like how I don't even receive an email that I was suspended. I don't always check my website so it stays offline for days and I only notice on the off chance. I suppose it happens so often, sending emails all the time would be too much? It would be super helpful if I could get some warning.

ANYWAY:
I have done NOTHING to my site recently.I have wordpress, but have NO plugins that will cause the high usage. I don't know what's going on. Can someone help me get to the bottom of this? As this is the second time, I am hoping that perhaps someone can see a pattern or something.

The only thing I am happy about is that the warning number is still 1/3, even though it's the second time.

Thanks in advance. :happysad:
Edit:
Any help, anyone?

High resource usage is usually caused by plugins or MODs but you are saying that you are not using any.

I don`t Think that too much visitor can cause high resource. I Advise you to check your site for coding errors. Some time this happen because of some wrong source code. wrong code can Run the same process again and again. Which could cause high resource.

Ignoring Boss, High resource usage could range from anything, from heavy memmory usage to bad loops.

I know i do see people who get suspended with wordpress. Best bet is to see if you can disable any resource intensive features(sorry, i don't have much experience with wordpress)

Hmm...Well...

It might be something I did to the theme... I forgot that tried to edit it a while back, because I was getting slashes in a form...
Ah, it seems I was doing that late November/early december. And the first suspension happend on the 22nd of December. Maybe I stuffed something up.

Before I go and try a reinstall, can someone take a look at the logs or whatever it is?

It's nothing conclusive, the log shows various articles/tag archives being showed over a period of time causing CPU to go high. The only factor that is the same for all entries I checked is the remote IP, which is the servers IP so I have my doubts about that as a cause :/

That was the answer I got last time, so if it is the same this time, and nothing more conclusive can be found... I guess I'll try undoing whatever I did - or just reinstalling the theme might be easier.

I remember that both wordpress and x10 were trying to add the slashes. The theme code already had stuff in place to stop the slashes for WP, but x10 was stopping that.
I got the slashes to stop in the form once submitted... but when it went into the page where the form information went, the slashes were still there and so the ad code didn't work.

It was at that point I stopped.
So It...

I just got suspended again >_____< Dang. So soon?!?!?!!? It still says warning 1/3 though, so that's nice.

Okay, un-suspended again.

Anyway... All the editing I did was in the functions.php, if that would help.

So.. could you please check what caused the one I started this thread about, and the one that just happend then? x_x;;

Log doesn't say much more this time either.

if all editing were made to one file only, you can just switch that for the original and see if that is the cause (rename your edited one so you can switch back if it shows to not be the cause). If it shows to be the cause, try comparing the files and see what things you changed, maybe there's a small mistake that causes a loop.

Try editing our some useless PHP lines. For example, the theme I use from Theme Junkie was stuffed with PHP code that did nothing than just echo the words in parenthesis. I forgot what they looked like but it was something like theme_junkie e('Categories'); which did nothing but display the word Categories.

Unnecessary PHP code slows the page down and causes higher PHP Memory Usage.

Or it might be what others said above. =)
