I am here to host the base site and mySQL for a minecraft based server... I had been previously running it on my own desktop with WAMP but the stress on my the horrid upload speeds of my home connection are proving troublesome. HOPE THIS HELPS!

If you want to host a gaming server then I think you will need to purchase x10VPS Dedicated. I'm not experienced in Minecraft servers so I'm not that sure.

I dont plan to host the actual server here... just the mySQL databases... there are minecraft(MC) hosters that provide built in mySQL support but there are cheaper services i can use to host the MC server if I can find an alternate source to handle the mySQL, hence why i am here :wink:

Unfortunately it might be a bit difficult, since remote access to MySQL is disabled for security reasons. This means that MySQL hosted on x10Hosting can only be accessed by a website on x10Hosting, not externally.
