How do I change my domain name?

I just purchased a .com domain name on godaddy.com but I have no idea what to do next.

How do I change my domain to the one I just purchased?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

On free hosting, we require that your main domain name be one of our subdomains. You are welcome to add the domain your purchased as a Parked domain on your account. You can learn more about them here: http://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/AllDocumentation/CpanelDocs/ParkedDomains

You can setup your domain name by changing your domain to use our nameservers at GoDaddy, and then adding it as a Parked or Addon domain in cPanel.

Thanks guys. I set the domain to use your nameservers, which they say will take 24-48 hours to take effect.

I also added, thetrinityplay.com, as a domain in the control panel with a redirection to trinitytheplay.x10.mx/.

Have I done this all correctly?

Did you add it as a parked domain?
And I would never use redirection.

Yes, added thetrinityplay.com as a parked domain and removed the redirection.

You keep writing one URL while I think you really mean trinitytheplay.com

OH you're right! D'oh! I am setting it up for someone, so he bought the domain, but I did park the right address, trinitytheplay.com

It might take a bit longer for the DNS changes to reach you, but right now the URL is working fine for me and I can see the site.
