I created a new account and responded to the email.

You've successfully signed up for an account. Your account has been created and you may now sign in our website with your email address canknow@xxx.com. You may sign in at any time at x10Hosting.com.

Sincerely,

The x10Hosting Team

I click on x10hosting.com and I get https://x10hosting.com/sso/main

So I sign into my cpanel successfully

 Username: xxxxxxxx

 Your Domain: http://canknow.x10host.com/

If using filezilla, I am instructed somewhere to load my files into ftp://xo4.x10hosting.com and into a directory called public_html.

I do that and there is no problem. I try to test

http://canknow.x10hosting.com/

Domain Does Not Exist

The web hosting account you're trying to reach no longer exists

I test again this time with x10host and not x10hosting

http://canknow.x10host.com/

This site is under development
My question: How do I activate the site
http://canknow.x10host.com ?

I get a page with a notice about site under construction.

It is possible that propagation was not completed when you initially tried the domain, are you still unable to reach the domain? If so, clearing the browser cache, and/or the DNS cache could help.

If it still fails after trying those options, please let us know.

Thanks for your reply.
If I use [canknow.x10host.com], the index.html does not automatically come up. Do I have to use index.php?
I would like the site to come up (as in index .html) without having to specify /index.html or having to specify index.php

Hi,

You have a file called "index.htm" as well as "index.html". It looks like the server is using your "index.htm" file instead. You could delete/rename it.

Thank you,
