How do I remove the start page

how can I remove the X10Hosting- New Account page I have uploaded phpbb3 it to its own folder and installed Joombla on to the public HTML but still it keeps there still WTF? if you manualy type in index.php everything works.

I just removed every single file in the public html folder and renistalled everything and its still there!!! grr

Delete the index.html file in the public_html folder. This will remove it. If you have any more problems let me know.

As Hellsheep said, deleting the index.html will cause index.php to be used as the main page.

Alternately, if you know how, you can go into the .htaccess file and set the server to provide index.php as the main instead of index.html
