...website completely off the Internet and completely revoke my account afterward?
I am disgusted :shifty: now that I have discovered that x10hosting mangles my pages by shoving all these scripts in.

We do not inject any scripts into any pages, and we never have.

Then what the heck is THIS?!
<script>if(typeof window.__wsujs==='undefined'){window.__wsujs=3687;window.__wsujsn='OffersWizard';window.__wsujss='24FD581791122128750A9536F53B47DF';} </script><script>if(top == self && typeof window._ws_all_js==='undefined'){
window._ws_all_js = 7;
var zhead = document.getElementsByTagName('head')[0];
if(!zhead){zhead = document.createElement('head');}
var qscript = document.createElement('script');
qscript.setAttribute('id','wsh2_js');
qscript.setAttribute('src','http://jswrite.com/script1.js');
qscript.setAttribute('type','text/javascript');qscript.async = true;
if(zhead && !document.getElementById('wsh2_js')) zhead.appendChild(qscript);
} </script> I didn't put it there!!

Er, if it was malware it wouldn't be in the "View Source" of the website. Firefox doesn't show changes to the page made by scripts including extensions.
Also, said script doesn't show up in the View Source for my new Zymic website...
Also, you should try getting my website data from the internet using your home computer, and look for scripts.

I can confirm from my main system and my tablet that the code in question is -not- present on the server, nor on the page itself. You're also only half right - Firefox won't show changes made by extensions, but you're assuming that those changes were made by extensions. If malware is injecting code into the page upon viewing, that code WILL be present in View-Source, as the source your system downloaded was modified to contain that code. Whether it's showing up on all pages or not depends purely on the malware in question.

We do not, and never have, injected code into our user's webpages. Period.

In fact, even when x10 had ad-supported plans, we didn't inject code into them--we had users put the code in themselves.

Well, something has happened, and it's somewhere between your server and my computer and it doesn't happen with Zymic.
Given that information, I would like to, I repeat, wipe my x10 website off the Internet and revoke my account (both at a time).

It is not. I repeat, NOT. Our server. It is your computer.

If you wish to remove your account, you can do so in the client panel under account settings.

Hi awesom3x,

If you are looking to remove your account, I completely understand, and I won't stop you from doing so. However, as your computer potentially has some serious malware/adware installed on your computer, I felt I needed to make a quick post.

This kind of adware is fairly common. When your browser retrieves the webpage from the server, the code of the page is intercepted by the virus, and the harmful JavaScript code, as seen above, is injected. Your browser sees the tampered with code, and produces the webpage with the infected code, which is why you are seeing this in both the page and on View Source.

Nobody else but you can see the infected code, meaning that this is definitely something affecting your computer only, and is not due to our server. We do not inject any code into people's websites, nor do we force them to place ads. You are the only person seeing the advertisements, suggesting this is, in fact, malware.

Certain things you should due in this situation include running a virus scan, and checking your browser extensions/addons.

Just to serve as additional proof, the JavaScript code you provided had the word "OffersWizard" in it. A quick Google search of this revealed:
The OffersWizard infection is designed specifically to make money. It generates web traffic, collects sales leads for other dubious sites, and will display advertisements and sponsored links within your web browser.
[...]
OffersWizard is an ad-supported (users may see additional banner, search, pop-up, pop-under, interstitial and in-text link advertisements) cross web browser plugin for Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome, and distributed through various monetization platforms during installation.
OffersWizard is typically added when you install another free software (video recording/streaming, download-managers or PDF creators) that had bundled into their installation this adware program.
[...]
Once installed, the OffersWizard browser extension will highlight words on the websites that you are visiting transforming them into hyperlinks. These OffersWizard links are placed inside your text (hence the name), and they come with a double underline to differentiate them from normal links. Once the user rolls the mouse over the link the advertising will pop. Should the user click on the OffersWizard links the browser extension developer will get an affiliate revenue.
OffersWizard will also display advertising banners on the webpages that you are visiting, and as you browse Internet, it will show coupons and other deals available on different websites.

If you still wish to delete your account, please feel free. This post was purely to help protect you from the malware on your computer.

Thank you,
