How long to delete account?

I have just requested my account e deleted so I can start over with a new one, and I was wondering how long it takes for my domain and account to be deleted before I can create a new one?

I've already had the OK that is would be deleted, but I was wondering if it takes time or if it gets deleted right away. Yes I have backed up everything and I would like it deleted ASAP so I can create a new one. As of now I can still log in and everything is still there.
