How much do you actually earn from ads?

I'm just wondering, for those of you here who have ads on your website, approximately how much money does it make for you? I see that programs only pay $0.01 per click, and I don't know how fast that adds up?
But I can't see it making enough to be worth it... or does it?

Well Google gives you way more than that, and it's because if you get a lot of traffic, you get a lot of clicks, which gets you a lot of money... That's the way the advertising world on the web works .

I have gotten a total of about 215$ from Ad clicking referrals, ads on my site, banner ads, and promoting small sites. And that's just for the past 3 months. So I guess in the beginnign it may be hard to get money but it gets easier with time.
