How much RAM do you have?

That might be a software problem, I would scan for spyware/malware. :eek4:

I'm running 1GB for video (SLi) and 4GB Crucial Ballistix 2.0v on Win7 64-bit.

2x2GB for 4GB is the minimum for me in all the computers I build, for myself or other people. Its the easiest amount of RAM to use to reach the cap for 32 bit OSes, while expandable to 8GB when used in 64bit environments.

Thats barring my laptop, which is capped by hardware specs to 3.5GB

1GB for Vista is MINIMUM for productivity and web browsing (it's barely enough for the OS to fit on itself. You're left with what, 50MB on default setup before it goes to the swap completely?). If you are running games, whether need I say, World of Warcraft or even shooters, you should be running 2GB minimum! RAM is cheap; go pick some up

Also post up what video card you have as well. That might help us find out if that is causing lag.
