4.5Gb on Win7 x64, but applications have started choking recently.
More hard disk space required
4 Gb on gaming computer, may be a lot but it shows. A lot of pro gamers get 8. I even know see that sometimes i cant even run recorders on high fps games. Still good though
I have 4 GB of mem. on this laptop (mine). Works great; Why would anyone need 6 GB of mem.?
Why not? I want to jump to 8gb. Not that I need it, but it'd be awesome to know that 1) Sims 3 could store pretty much anything it wanted in memory and not have to unload it, but more importantly for me 2) if any of it ever failed, I'll still have an awesome amount left after finding and removing the bad stick(s)
What kind of RAM do you have and what clock Alex? The 8GB of DDR3 Corsair Dominator RAM I have in my desktop cost less than half of that price.
