From my own experience, the following steps can resolve the cPanel and database connection error:

1. Change password from https://x10hosting.com/control/login.php

2. Then you should be able to login to your cPanel (my case: http://chopin.x10hosting.com:2082)

3. Go to "MySQL Databases", check to see if your database still exit.

4. If no, you will probably need to start all over, and create the database from scratch.
If yes, create a new user, attach it to your database. Then delete your old user name.
Of course, you will need to change the setting in your wp-config.php file.

Closing this as it is not a support request.

Ps. if the database does not exist, you can always ask us to see if we can dig up a backup, often we can.
