using X10 to host an opensource project, I wanted to known if there is any way of making money from my website in an open-source way ?

You could always put adverts up to bring in some revenue. I use AdSense myself, you can sign up at http://www.google.com/adsense/

And any click ads to get paid option works, if you have a big community you can get massive referrals.
Also other ad offering programs such as adsense ads can be put on your page for additional revenue. (Adsense is more bang for your buck though)
And you could always charge your website members for some premium features on your website!
