SO with the news of the Chrome browser no longer showing any HTTP websites as of next month...

when is the HTTPS going to get fixed here?

Doesn’t have to do with http websites. Has to do with suspicious downloads over http connections, not actual web browsing.

They are blocking downloads that happen over http when the site you’re on is using http.

Thanks for the clarification.

I read it on a message board and really, was just a story to ask the same question again.

When they're going to fix the HTTPS here. :)

We're running some tests, but I can not say for sure it will end up being a free feature after the testing is done.

Despite what we are seeing and hearing everywhere, I think it is still too early for the optional-free-TLS. But I do also believe that in a not-so-far future, it will become a mandatory-and-for-your-life-TLS; here and everywhere.

Does someone remember that #ResetTheNet campaign? Personally, I did notice the before and after in a huge number of websites, not to mention FTP servers. And I do still keep noticing this before-and-after in this days.

x10 should at least provide the ability to use that ssl for free service,
and for the cloudflare users, some basic cloudflare options while still being free.
with option to upgrade if they want more. (just a thought)

Only says it will block mix content (HTTPS site using an HTTP resource) according to this site and site. Still, if your site is connecting on HTTP only it doesn't matter. Site using HTTPS is affected.
