Hi everyone!
I need some help on my site http://postproductionmag.x10host.com
I parked my domain, I changed the DNS settings on GoDaddy.com and I redirected my domain http://postproductionmag.com to http://postproductionmag.x10host.com, I've been trying to make it work with /home_postprod and etc with both domains in any possible combination.

I know I'm doing something wrong, what I want to happen is that in all my site the addressesshows as postproductionmag.com/ppm home and all the subdirectories do the same.

Can somebody help me? I really feel dumb. it has been a couple of years that I don't do this and I'm a little rusty.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Jose

Hi Jose,

From GoDaddy, you should have the option to change your domain's nameservers. Instead of using Redirection, please could you change your domain's nameservers to:

ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com

Thank you,

Hi Willliam,

Glad to talk to you again! Really! You helped me beforre and I am very happy with those results!

Now, I changed the nameservers already, that was the first thing I did, godaddy don't even let me Redirect anymore, I used redirrect on CPanel, so what should I do? Can you check my site postproductionmag.x10host.com to see where I made the mistake?

thank you and advance and a pleasure to hear from you again!

BTW I'm going to double check the settings in godaddy, I'll let you know if they are right... better safe than sorry...

Hi Jose,

Great to hear from you again too! :)

Your domain appears to have been setup fine on cPanel, but currently I'm seeing your .com domain as still using GoDaddy's redirection. Sometimes there can be a delay in nameserver changes, and this may be why this is happening, but just to be safe, please could you verify that our nameservers are definitely set at GoDaddy? They have an article on how to do this here. :)

Thank you,

Ok William, I double check it and I even called godaddy, settings are good!
Attached is an updated copy of the Domain Details, so, I don't know what to do....
for some reason I think I did something wrong, like I told you before, I use a redirect on CPanel, should I delete it? What can I do. I also just checked postproductionmag.com and still shows a 404 error.

I appreaciate all your help, you have been a real help for me....

Thank you in advance...

Hi Jose,

Great - I can see your nameserver settings fine now. :)

A line in your .htaccess file was causing you to be redirected to the 404 error page, which I have now commented out, and your site now appears to be loading fine. ;)

Thank you,

Please help me correct it as I have the site commited with my partner, is not a big deal for him, but I try to keep my word in everything and I promisrd him to take care of the domain parked and workking today, so if you can help me, I will really appreciate it.

Hi Jose,

It is likely that your web browser is caching the redirection to the 404 page. Please could you try clearing your browser's cache and try again? Your site appears to be loading fine right now. :)
