i really need help?

i dont know where to find my host so i can put it into filezilla to get my FTP working. Also i need to find my port too for the same reason. if anyone can help please let me know. =)

Hi Pixie,

You need to Log into your CPanel account and add a FTP account using the tool on there. Once you have created one, all the FTP details are displayed.

I just use explorer with ftp://[username]:[password]@[yourdomain].x10hosting.com

to get to the root, you do not need to create a special ftp account in cpanel. Your cpanel details will let you log in through ftp as well.

host: mysite.x10hosting.com (or whatever you have as site url)
port: 25 (default ftp port)
login: cpanel username
password cpanel password

You can of course create ftp accounts in cpanel for the task as well, but you don't really need that.
