I believe it was Samurai Empire, not sure though. As far as I'm aware, RunUO doesn't yet support ML.
And yes, I think most of us are connecting with UOGateway (thats how Corey told me to connect in my pm anyways). I'm fresh off a WindozeExpee reinstall, so I'll probably jump on the server again if it's still running (I tried to connect a while back but got a connection error, although I now have reason to believe the problem was on my end). If it's up, hope to see you there!
Side note: Unless I misheard the rumors, RunUO is supposed to support ML after new years, but don't quote me on that as I really don't know if it does or doesn't.

I've had my experience with RunUO and infact was once a contributing scriptor/forum junkie. I do know that RunUO supports any client that is atleast the server's that runs the RunUO server. So as long as I ain't running something like Third Dawn I will be able to play. 
NOTE: If anyone wants to download the newest UO client (yes it will work with any UO server version before it, you just can't use the features of the new game on the server until it supports them). The download link is below, I downloaded it there a while back it goes relatively fast.

Also before accusing me of anything, this is NOT illegal, they allow re-distribution of their client/software and emulation of their servers.

This offer still valid? I went to the site to download and give it a whirl. Seems either I can't connect to the site, or the site is down.
Anyone got a suggestion for downloading UO? I don't mind if its a semi large file ... I can wait till this weekend when I get my faster connection.
