personally i like firefox better than IE. for one thing, i think it looks better and its cool how it can be customizable. second, i like really like the tabs, it makes things much easier for me to have everything organized. thirdly, whenever i use IE i seem to get a lot of popups. when i use firefox i dont get the popups. and lastly, firefox is faster than IE, at least in my experiences. those are my basic reasons but i do have some more.
