Increase website disk space

Could you please increase the current disk space of 512mb allocated for my website? My wordpress website is using up all space after being updated to the latest version, the control panel doesn't even work without free space.

Mines sort of the same, but as of right now they have the company (website) broken into huge departments like lego pieces and they’re just trying to put it back together. So, beings I’m also dealing with an iNode issue also, Registration System being down, Customer Support, etc. they’re probably working on it. I think we’re just going to have to keep being patient until the issues are fixed.

My only advice I can offer, is just keep trying to decrease your size until they’re free to give us an allocated update.

Thank you for your suggestion. While waiting for the customer support to evaluate my request, I'll see if I can remove something to free some space to have at least the control panel working properly.

There is no hosting account associated with the forum account you are currently using. In order to assist we need to know which account is yours, the main domain (as it was when you signed upif changed) will suffice to look it up

Given that you didn't even have 3 mb on there when I checked you do not currently qualify.

One requirement is using at least half the space, with content that is in par with ToS.

True, but to be fair I was struggling with an over allocated iNode issue. ‍ But, true... Let’s just wait until I can upload my website.

Inodes would not be increased on free hosting, if you hit the limit for that, the only option is to clear files (emails are included in this count) or upgrade to premium hosting.

You can't add the information. However when you signed up there was a forum account automatically created that holds that information, the username for that is: vladimirgavryusev71

Using this account for support would be preferred for ease of looking the account up, if you prefer the current you need to remember to include details, either username or the domain.

I have increased your disk space.

Do note though that your cache folder in wordpress has grown rather large, it may be wise to clear it from time to time, depending on what you use for cache functionality there should be an option to clear somewhere in your settings.

Also, you have hit the limit on Inodes, this is not something that will be increased on free hosting. Any file/folder (including saved emails) will contribute to the Inode count, cache functionality often consist of a large number of smaller files so I'd say it is highly likely that it is a major cause of that part of the problem.

thank you very much for extending the disk space and for letting me know about the Inode count issue, I didn't notice it. I'll look into it. My website is based on wordpress and I'm using W3 Total Cache for caching. Are there any suggested settings for x10hosting? Maybe I've turned on some setting that increases greatly the number of caching files. Is there any way to check through the directAdmin control panel the number of files per folder?

In my opinion, they just have the restriction on the max number of files on this disk, as an example, they might have 999 of the max amount of different files that can be stored on that disk, and it doesn't matter that you still will have some free space. Using the online disk space is not really recommended because they lack solid recovery methods, and if you accidentally format or lose the data from this type of disk, it will be unable to recover the data even with the good recovery services like raid recovery service.
