Index Document not working?

I've made my htaccess file to make the index document "index.html" but for some reason it just takes me to this page: https://www.x10hosting.com/website-coming-soon
However when I navigate to the page with "domain.com/index.html" it's there. Never had this issue on any other hosting service I've used.

Hi regular3,

The index document is index.html by default, and you shouldn't need to change anything to do this. You are likely seeing the Website Coming Soon page because your browser has cached the page, as I see "website in development m80's" when I go to your website address.

Please could you try clearing your cache?
