Invalid password on CPanel

Hello.

I signed up for a free account and now, almost 24hrs later, I am unable to log in to my CPanel. I saw a proposed solution to clear my browser cookies, which I did and I still have the problem. I can log in to my portal just not into my CPanel.

Any help is appreciated.

Please could you be more specific? What error message are you getting? Which URL are you logging into? What username are you trying to login with?

Yup. So as far as I understand after i log in at 'x10hosting.com/portal' and click on the 'Access my cPanel' button, I should be redirected to cPanel and logged into my cPanel right? I can log into my portal just fine, but when I click on that button, it redirects me to cPanel but says authorisation failed. I tried to log in manually using my portal credentials, but didn't work.

See the thing is I did not get separate log in credentials for the cPanel account (mywebsite.com:2083).

Then I tried resetting my portal password, which did not help either.
