Hi,I followed the directions here:http://x10hosting.com/forums/free-hosting/177511-important-new-ticket-system.htmland put in a support ticket on 3/28/12. Not being impatient just a little concerned because as this picture showshttp://mobiledesign.elementfx.com/support-screenshot.jpg the system thinks I put the ticket in on 11/11/2011.In case the ticket is totally out of whack, my problem is that my .htaccess file is not being read. At least that's what the tests for "is your .htaccess working" that I found on the Internet say.Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The date on the page where you read the ticket is wrong
look at the date next to each ticket on the page that list all your tickets

IF your account is on server Boru or Lotus there is a backlog - and you might not receive a reply

-------------------------
what are you trying to do with your .htaccess file ?

I do not know of any x10hosting's server that will not read and use a "error free" .htaccess file

Hello,

It appears that the Account Portal date is incorrect, as according to our backend ticket system it was creating on the 28th March 2012. I have alerted the admins of this minor problem.

Sorry in the delay in getting a response to your ticket, but (due to the recent Boru and Lotus issues) our volunteers are having to deal with approximately 600 tickets. As you can probably tell, it's difficult to get through all of them right away.

Thank you for your patience.

Hi ajordan91,

Thanks for your reply. I checked I'm on starka. I had to create the htaccess file so that the W3C mobileOK validator would recognize that the character encoding on site pages had been declared.

The tests from the Internet said that if the file is written incorrectly the site should deliver an internal server error and not the site page. If the file had not worked perfectly on my other host, I would figure that it was simply an error on my part. Which it could still very well be, I just need to know what to do to fix it.

Hi Dead-i,

No worries, patience is my middle name! Just wanted to make sure someone was out there. I appreciate you taking the time to answer and pass along the problem. :)
