That script (from what I can find on the Web) seems to be pretty old -- and trying to install it via Softaculous says "This script is not compatible with PHP version : 5.3+" -- hence won't run here.
My understanding is that Softaculous is a third party service. x10 pays for it and Softaculous supplies the installers. They are the ones who include the scripts. Since the script is open source, its not costing Softaculous anything to include it.
Not sure if x10hosting can "edit" the list to remove inappropriate/outdated scripts. Even if they can, I think it a bit unreasonable for them to have to test every single script on the list beforehand.
