Issue with site.

Hi there I just created a account I am trying to install extcalendar for my site. I keep getting a white page when I install this.

That script (from what I can find on the Web) seems to be pretty old -- and trying to install it via Softaculous says "This script is not compatible with PHP version : 5.3+" -- hence won't run here.

If that is the case why is it still offered even?

My understanding is that Softaculous is a third party service. x10 pays for it and Softaculous supplies the installers. They are the ones who include the scripts. Since the script is open source, its not costing Softaculous anything to include it.

Not sure if x10hosting can "edit" the list to remove inappropriate/outdated scripts. Even if they can, I think it a bit unreasonable for them to have to test every single script on the list beforehand.

I've removed some of the incompatible scripts.

AngusThermopyle is correct-we don't have control of compatibility.
