Want to see how fast does you internet take to load a average website from x10hosting?
then try going to my website (http://nullcity.x10.bz) to see how fast it loads.

What it is, and IS NOT:

This IS NOT a speed test like from speedtest.net
This IS NOT a place to keep refreshing (trying to keep bandwith under 20 MB)
This IS NOT a website to spam around
This IS NOT a spam post
This IS NOT a competition
This IS a normal website
This IS just to experiment, so please give true results.

Mines took approximately 6.5 seconds to connect to google (for maps and jquery)
and took about 2 seconds to load and render the page under DSL 128 KB/s

Sorry, your "test" has flaws.
You have two requests on the page that turn up 404's. Or are those intentional?
If by "average" you mean some "additional" stuff that x10hosting has no control over, fine. But don't blame x10hosting for google analytics , google maps, wikimedia, and facebook. The more "stuff" people put on their pages, the slower they load. It doesn't matter what host they have.

my email icon is SVG, so chrome was just drawing the graphics.

Site took no time at all to load up. Just as fast as Google comes up.

Have T1 right? With DSL it takes at least 3-10 seconds, and dial-up (56K Modem) it takes 20 seconds

what's with google chrome? is it any good?
I think Google Chrome is the best browser, and I use it all the time. It is a WEBKIT browser that is very simple... but that's what makes it special. You're not overloaded with tons of toolbars and buttons; they're all hidden somewhere that you can easily reach but not right infront of you. The downloads bar slides up when you download so you're not disturbed from the webpage; the tabs are built in to the top window area, everything is just right. Plus, it is very compatible browser, while IE is a nightmare.
