What is Serene OverloaD?
Serene OverloaD is a new and exiting RPG based upon the stories being written by Brendan. If you would like to

Why Help This Project?
We are no normal project, we want to emphisize creativity and create a fun envirment for the players. Its all

about creating something NEW!! Best of all theres no template, so you cant screw up (too bad at least).

What if I help?
Currently we have a tight budget (Enought to pay for hosting) so we cannot pay anyone but we will make sure that

you are given credit for any work you do! If we do start to make some money off this project we will pay people and

give some money to those who helped previously (Note: We plan to have a payed member status with special

unlockables)

2D or 3D?
The project currently only supports 2D modeling but when we move to other platforms we will move to 3D.

Style: Future

Colors: Any

Sizes
Characters: Berween 200x200 and 400x400 (px)
Weapons & Items: Not sure. For now smaller than 400x400

About the Characters
The character system includes leveling, status upgraing, equipment and will include class leveling.

About the Equipment
The equipment will feature mods (Simalar to Ratchet And Clank) that will create unlimitied possibilities.

i can program. will the programming be done from scratch or would we start from existing code? i know php quite well, and one of the big things that i emphasize when i program is that i like my code to be xhtml valid.

if the programming is from scratch, i may be able to help, but if not, then i don't think i'll want to be a part. also, good luck trying to get it to the xbox or the playstation 3, other than the xna on the xbox.

Yes, everything is from scratch. I am cutting no corners! Hell I even am coding the forum myself..... What do you feel you would be the most help with coding wise?

thanks. if you've got any im accounts, i've got aol, live, yahoo and icq that i usually have running 24/7. the aim account i've got listed on here isn't my personal im, but you can use that if you wish

i've got zend studio installed currently w/ ftp access, but there's programs out there that you can use that will "checkout" for lack of better word a script if someone else is currently editing it. there's gotta be a program that makes programming teams work together seamlessly. if you can think of any programs like that, i'll be happy to switch for this project.

hey, since you're offline and sleeping, i've been looking at alternatives to dotProject. i've looked at PHProjekt and it looks most promising. I uploaded dP here, but there's an error when i try to upload files through it.

hey, i found a free trac host. it's got svn support so it's easier to manage the project because you can see what parts of the files changed. i've already setup an account for you and sent it to you in an im, but you didn't respond and went offline. if you need it again, i'll send it to you.
