Lost ftp access

I just lost access to my ftp, ftp connection is rejected BEFORE authentication:
FTP Username: inp
FTP Server: ftp.inp.x10.mx
htpp access is fine, file manager is OK.
What is going on?

Usually a FTP server requires password. If you've lost your password you can reset it by visiting cPanel ---> FTP Accounts ---> Change Password!

Could you please paste the entire error message? Do you get the same issue if you use the domain without adding ftp (inp.x10.mx)?
