I am trying to change my account to use the domain wpthemer.co.cc instead of sinistercorps.co.cc. When I enter it on this page : http://x10hosting.com/panel.php?modifyaccount nothing ever gets changed.

Hi mcyhanick,

Your account information shows that your main domain name is set to http://sinistercorps.co.cc, so your domain name change request in your account management panel has gone through and has been accepted. Try visiting http://x10hosting.com/panel.php?modifyaccount again and refresh the page, and your changes should be reflected.

Oh, sorry about that. -___-'

Are there any error messages that appear when you attempt to change your main domain name?

sadly no, it says it inserts it into the queue and when you come back to the page its as if you were never there before.

Hi mcyhanick,

I may have found out why the server is rejecting your domain name change after you place it into our queue. Do you happen to have http://wpthemer.co.cc as an add-on domain in your account via cPanel?

Hi mcyhanick,

That's why your changes aren't going through, because the system sees the Wordpress Theme website as already owned. Is there a particular reason you need it set as your main domain and not as an add-on domain? Because it is still owned by you under your account.

i just wanted to do some cleaning and remove stuff i will not be using. I wanted to remove that domain, but its the main domain. I think I know what I have to do.

Back up my data for wpthemer.co.cc and remove it from cpanel. and then go into account and change the main domain to wpthemer.co.cc and the system should do the change as intended. Then I can restore the domain, but now in the main domain's location on the server.

yes, that sounds as a good plan.
Though when removing the add on domain in cPanel no files are deleted, so you don't need to download them first to do this. However it is always wise to have a copy stored locally :)
