Max file size upload

Well, i've been trying for several ours to upload for heavy files of about 20~30MB, without success. I retried several times now, and ALWAYS ALL OF THE FILES stop uploading at about 16MB, and an error is displayed in my FileZilla log.
I copy it there so it doesn't mess the post. I've been searching everywhere for a filezile limit on free hosting, but didn't find. I did find a post that claims you should use connection keep-alive so x10 server doesn't stop your transference, but it didn't work either. Of course, also tried without that at first....
Didn't try the file manager, because i read that there was an 8MB filesize limit
(when i say i read, i mean read it in this forum)

The error reads as follows:

1. Error: Could not write to transfer socket: EPIPE - Local endpoint has been closed
2. Respuesta: 552 Transfer aborted. Disk quota exceeded

But i thought there was no disk quota limit! :S
I'm using my main user, which has no limit.

Well, file manager doesn't seem to have an upload limit, it worked well uploading those not-so-heavy files.
But ftp doesn't, so the problem isn't solved...

Believe this was done to help combat some of the File Hosting folks - some of them were uploading multiple gigs via FTP. In any case you also may want to be aware something you were doing caused you to get suspended for high resource usage; since I was here anyways I undid that.

And scratch everything I just said because you've got illegal files for the game Uplink up there, so it's permanently suspended now.

You cannot legally redist the entire game, the new player serialcode (keycode) table, the bonus disc, the game bible, etc. That just doesn't fly.

yeah, the high resource pops up every once in a while cause of wordpress, nothing i can do against it
I tried to put limits, but seems to be a wordpress bug, to not read limits.

So... what now?

Read my post just prior to your current one. For distributing the game Uplink (full version), the key-code list required to make a new player in the full version, the bonus disc, and the gamebible, all parts you cannot legally redistribute, you have been permanently suspended, and your account access permanently revoked.

is now when i have to wait till the account gets deleted for 15 days to create a new one and put the site back except for the stuff that provoke me a suspension?

A minimum of 14; it could be longer, it just depends how long it takes to get terminated before you can recreate the account.

You'd likely get an e-mail saying your hosting account has been terminated, there's no guarantee though, depending on how the actual termination is done (can be done two ways).

i didn't understand... is it going to be terminated or not? the email isn't that important anyway...
in any case, you may close this thread if you wish.

BTW, i recommend to modify FAQ so it clarifies FTP upload limit.

The account will definitely be terminated, the only uncertain things is when (other then the fact it will be no sooner then 14 days after it was suspended).

The max upload size is a recent change, to combat abuse where some user seemed to think storing copyrighted full length movies in the account was a good plan.
