Because of my incompetance in web design, I am trying to just install MediaWiki on my website since it is a system I somewhat understand. I have no clue however to add the ads required by you guys to the system so that they show on each page.

How can I do this, or do you know of a better way that I can host my site without having to redesign each page that I create?

Hello, I have read through the forums and it seems as if it is (or was) a bit of an issue for many users trying to install MediaWiki on your servers.
Can you tell me what I need to to to have a successful install? Do I need the advanced PHP, or is there something else I need to do? A little assistance with this would be very appreciated.
-Thanks!

Hello,

Please submit an application for PHPv3 with a link to this thread, your account will be upgraded for 24 hours to let you install MediaWiki, and then re-downgraded to PHPv2.

OK, and once this is done, do I just install as the MediaWiki website says?

I would like to get this installed tonight, but my application is still pending. I'm sorry if I seem pushy, but tonight is the only time I will have free to do this for a while. Thanks for the quick responses....
Edit:
I guess I'll just check in the morning... I really do appreciate what you guys do, thanks for the good service...

Please don't worry. The problem is because of past abuse, PHPV3 requests can only be processed by an admin, such as Brandon. As soon as one of them get's to your request it should be approved.

Trust me, it's worth the wait.

The request has been approved, post back here when MediaWiki is installed so we can revert your PHP version to v2.
