Hi all,

after the migration I noticed my MySQL DBs are gone. The files are all intact as it seems but I can't connect to the DB and when I click on the phpMyAdmin button I first get to a page for a short time where it says:

"Error while connecting to MySQL: couldn't connect to /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock: connect: Connecttion refused"

After that I get redirected to a Welcome to phpMyAdmin page where I can't log in. It just says "#2002 can not login on MySQL server".

My username is luisdiaz.

All help is much appreciated. Thanks!

@leafypiggy: Hi, no. It's all fixed. I read on some other thread that there were backups of the DBs in the folder /home/[username], and they were indeed there.
So the problem is solved, but thanks for asking :)
