Hi.

Is mod_deflate enabled for gzip page compression at all?

I am trying to run php_value output_handler ob_gzhandler through .htaccess to optimize and reduce the load from my website on the servers, but I am getting a 500 internal server error.

Hello,

Check the permissions if the permissions are set to 777 set them to 755. Also if you're having any issues it may be some incorrect code or even that the server is killing the it. If a php script executes for longer than 60 seconds it'll be killed. Let me know if you have any problems after these issues have been looked into.
