Hi,

I moved the web site from a subfolder to root, but site still available on subfolder but not on root from the web.

I've tried to empty my navigator cache, use another browser, but no positive results.

I still have an HTTP ERROR 500.

1-I have then recreated .httaccess as I had delete it (errased what was in root then moved files from subfolder).
2-modified configuratino.php for my log_path and temp_path. I don't have a Live_site variable in my configuration.php.
3-rename my robot.txt.dist to robot.txt (even if not really required)

I've wait a couple of minutes (+++) to see if the server has to sync something I'm not aware of...

Do you have any ideas what could I have erase that I shouldn't have? I haven't find a way to undeleted them.

thanks,

Arnaud

The files for your primary domain are served from ~/domains/[your domain name here]/public_html

I'm still getting used to the new software, but when you say "root" path, you are using this path?

Hi garrettroyce,

Yes, I should have wrote : /public_html as the root for the public website.
I'm using the /public_html folder. The web site was in a subfolder /public_html/joomla and I moved files to /public_html

This should be sorted out, for some reason your domain was pointed to the old server. You may need to flush your dns before you can see the site properly.
