Alright I read through the support pages and I know that an account wont exist immediately after one puts in the code that is recieved by email. however I have been waiting for over 1/2 an hour and the account doesnt seem to actually exist, which is strange...
when I try to go to the domain I entered in registration (http://honors291G.x10hosting.com) says its available, and offers a way to register to get the page. If any of you know a solution, I would be incredibly grateful.

The domain will show as available until the account is fully created, which at times of high load can take up to 24 hours.

sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart in the terminal... and still nothing... any suggestions?

Sorry, I go to his page clicking on his link and find "Domain Available"

I just grabbed it via cURL from a script and it shows "Domain Available".

Are you guys sure you see something other than a "Domain Available" page?

To make it clear, I am going to

http://honors291g.x10hosting.com/

I get index of/

Might be dns propagation being a bit slower for some ISP. DNS changes can take a while to go through all over the world, it can take up to 48 hours, though commonly is faster then that. It's possible one ISP shows the updated information and another the old information. In that case all you can do is wait.

In the meantime you can view your site by using this alternative: http://lotus.x10hosting.com/~tendaga
