Mysql problem

My new drupal install can't connect to database. all details been inputted correctly. Already opened a ticket but no reply in a long time.

Somebody help. What the hell happened to x10??

What error messages do you get?

Did you manually install Drupal or use Fantastico?

Did you remember to add the database user to the database?

What info are you inputting? (do not include the password, this is a public forum).
